Madoka magica themed island

After a lot of thinking I decided to make my island madoka magica themed!! I wont go into detail about what it will look like but I do plan on having myself, yachiyo, madoka, homura, alina, nagisa, tsuruno, and an undecided girl maybe konoha, mitama, or ren idk

Anyway! I cant think of what villagers would be cute with this :c
I have three picked out but that's all. Chadder and tia will be near nagisa and then I want etoile to be near madoka. Otherwise my mind has gone blank

Any ideas?

I've not much to say for villagers (personally would prefer to wait and see the full list, even though I'm assuming most all the ones from nlwa will, with a possible exception to some like the sanrio collab villagers and etc, be back), but give ren her girlfriend

If I make ren it will be very obvious her and rika now live together and are in love ;; (when you talk to her I will literally make her say "I love my girlfriend rika")
I may end up just having my main character as alina so I can have rika and ren but hhhhh.... I'm trying not to reset my town every time I have a new theme idea :c

maybe coco? she reminds me of the witches in madoka magica a little bit. or like something you'd see dancing in one of the witch's nests. (i forget what they're actually called in the show.)

Omg I'm obsessed with the aesthetic and art in Madoka Magica, especially the witch labyrinths. Gekidan Inu Curry is such an inspiration for me so I'm definitely going to implement some of the witch labyrinths into my island somehow. I'm excited to see how your island turns out!!

As for villagers, I think Gayle would be a good fit for Madoka since shes pink and has a heart patterning. It would be cool to have a villager around their house for each of the character's individual color scheme.

I literally spent so much time figuring out how I'm going to make these labyrinths bc there will be... so many...
Alinas house will literally be an art gallery when you walk in and every room a different labyrinth cant wait to kill myself doing this lmaooo

I actually dont like the new space cub much but diana would be perfect for yachiyo o: shes not the same colors but she has that model type look going on. Maybe her and francine hmm....

if you put in sayaka, lily could be good to put by her! she's aquatic to fit with the little mermaid theme and is pretty much her colors, though one of the other frogs might fit better to your personal preference. i just really like lily. julian might also work by her, or one of the knight birds (sterling or knox) due to her sort of idealistic fairy-tale knight in shining armor attempts at everything. and again, julian is her colors!

for homura, muffy would work well with her colors, or maybe lobo? or camofrog, if you wanna make a joke of he ran the military base she stole the weapons from.

you already got some good recommendations for villagers by madoka, but ruby would also work well with her i think not only because of appearance but because of her links to rubyquest, which also takes something cute and makes it really dark... actually, now that i think of it ruby could work well as a kyubey expy.

glad i could help! to be honest, i only thought of the sayaka ones because those choices seemed obvious to me while i was scrolling through a villager list to think, "hm, who could work here?" and even though i have a soft spot for ruby, she's definitely pretty eerie, and just... the white color and red eyes work too well for kyubey. especially since kyubey has the longer set of ears! maybe you could put her in a design or an outfit that fits with that whole theme, too.

actually, putting all the villagers in clothes that fit who they are or what they represent or who they're close to could really be neat! i don't know if you want to go through the extra effort, but it's a thought.

I wonder if we will have more control over what they wear??? That would be perfect!!!! And makes me want to add more villagers that look like different girls hmm.
Gotta keep the muffy/etoile combo for homura and madoka though
