Making a signature image?

I've been seeing a lot of those cutesy images with pixel-art backgrounds and little villager sprites in people's signatures, and I would like to know how I could make my own. I've been searching around for quite a bit of time now and haven't found anything. Can anyone help?

Well, there are a lot of people here willing to make one for you if you can't figure it out on your own, but this is a good resource for all sprites you may want to use on your signature, while you may choose from any background you wish, although it would probably be best to ask permission before using it.

If your a beginner I recommend using 'Picmonkey'. It's an really easy site to create backgrounds! You could also go to the 'Museum' and get someone to make it for you. ^^;
