I've been living in Fairview for two days now, and haven't they been hectic! When I moved out of my house in Totton, I wanted a calm, quiet life in the countryside. I didn't expect to become Mayor of the humble town I was moving to! But still, my first few days have been pleasant, if busy, and I'm getting to know Fairview and it's citizens well.
I have five villagers in my town, Cube, Marcie, Gloria. Anicotti and Leonardo. Anicotti, Gloria and Cube are my closest friends at the moment. Leonardo and Marcie seem to keep themselves to themselves, but hopefully they will open up to me soon
There is a plot reserved for a new resident going by the name of Beardo. I've asked around, and apparently he's a bear... I think I heard something about Marcie living in a town where he lived but I'm not sure whether that's actually true or not...
Well, at least I'm living in an actual house now. I've paid off my 10,000 Bells, then followed up with paying the 39,800 Bell fee for the house. I've chosen to expand, since my house feels cramped, and I'd like to make room for some new furniture as well. The fee for expansion is 98,000 Bells, which seems a long way off at the moment! Hopefully I'll be able to pay it off soon.
As proud Mayor of Fairview, I'm taking my job seriously. I'm currently working towards getting my development permit, and I am at around 50%. My secretary, Isabelle, is giving my advice on how to improve my rating, so I am trying my best to follow it. I'd like to complete it by the end of tonight, and have it sent off so that I can hopefully start building tomorrow.
Well, I'm off to water some flowers, catch some fish and net some more bugs for the museum!
