Am I the only person who's picked up this wonder of a game?

It's definatly a step in the right online direction for Nintendo. Not ALL the way there, but it's a step.

My only major online qualm is that you can't change your starting weapon in between lives, you can only do it in between lives.

It's like Nintendo almost gets it.

Almost.

I want it, but I'm still saving my money up for a 360... so its on my Christmas list.

I mean in between games D:

But you can steal the main weapon of your fallen enemies or comrades, so that's kinda ok.

I've been trying to buy it all week, but Wal-Mart and Target don't have it yet... and GameStop is way too far. Well I'll have it in a week or so at least... so I'll play then. But you'll have like 2 weeks more experience than me, so be easy on me at first. =D

By the way, "this step" wasn't made by Nintendo really... well they did help with it a little bit I guess.

I know EA did it, but I'm talking generally about the Wii's online.

Actually, no FC's = giant step.
Now they just need to get a better series than MOH do it D:

How good is it online? I might be looking forward for a shooter.

Also, are you using a zapper? Do they work well?

No, didn't buy the Zapper cause of bad reviews.

The online is decent. There's Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, and I'm pretty sure Capture the Flag.
In Team Deathmatch, there's a team auto-balance.
The Axis is Red Letters and the Allies are green, so it's kinda confusing when you switch teams.
There's no friendly fire except for nades.
Switching weapons is kinda annoying, it uses the D-Pad.
There's a few gun balancing problems. The Thompson is weaker than the Luger.
The melee attack is hard to land.
There's a skill level and stat board for you, so you can keep track of kills and stuff.
There is a friend system.
Something nifty with the Nunchuck is that you can twist it back and forth to lean.

Sounds aweosme.

I'm trying to make myself available to other shooters besides Halo, so I might pick this up. I never had a CoD before, and sounds like a good early Wi-Fi game.

Damn Im stupid.

No FC's? I'd say that's a GIANT step in the right direction, too bad Nintendo doesn't support that. Maybe for Brawl....

Almost.
You mean EA?

;)

It's not only published by EA, but the online gameplay is also managed by them and housed on their network.

I've read the reviews, I've read tons of player comments, and the game seems to have its issues. But I still looking forward to playing it this Christmas. A shooter with that calibre of controls on the Wii? I'm there! Hopefully, the online issues will be something that can be worked around. Best of all though, there's still no known way for modders to use cheats on the Wii, so matches should be a level playing field for now.

Couldn't have said it any better.

At the moment I don't have the money for it, and i'm hoping for a new ipod for Christmas, So I guess I'll probably have to buy it with some money I get from relatives.

No Friend Codes? Awesome! Dang I hope Ninty does the same xD

it's pretty high on my Christmas list, so I'll probably get it

how's the online for fps and lag?

Hmmmmm, sounds decent... Maybe I'll pick it up... If I'm not too busy playing all the OB games after Christmas. : D
