As far as the Genesis sound chip goes, I always liked it more than the SNES sound chip. It wasn't as clean as what you would hear on the SNES, but it was unique in that it had it's own sound. I always get all nostalgic listening to my GYM collection.
As far as Mega Turrican's soundtrack goes; The opening cutscene theme was rockin'.
