It's actually supposed to be a carrot. His eyebrows are the leaves according to the wiki.

EDT, I live on the east coast - I'm going to try to cycle through villagers when more people are around to get them, it's a bit hard to find homes this late at night! Caroline is the last one for tonight - I'm hoping to get rid of Antonio, Peewee, Lyman, Eugene and whoever else I have listed tomorrow during the afternoon/evening.
