Webkinz was (and still kind-of is) a popular online game for kids and people who like what it has to offer.

I personally think it has gone down hill since you could create a free account and have minimum privileges.

But anyways, what are some memories you had with Webkinz? Did you quit? Do you still play?

Oh gosh, Webkinz. I joined in early 2007 when the hype was probably the highest. I was suuuuuper obsessed, I played every day without fail and had 3 accounts and a massive collection of rare items. I bought the charms and bookmarks and figurines and all the side products Ganz made. I probably had 50 webkinz at one point, I've given a lot of them away now (I only kept 19). I kept playing regularly until probably 2014. Now I pretty much only log in on holidays to get the gift basket. I don't like the changes they made for the tenth anniversary ("Webkinz X" or whatever), it's one of the reasons I don't play much anymore. The format is annoying. But I have a lot of good memories back from when I joined :') the best day of my childhood life was when I finally traded someone for a 2006 Jack O' Lantern hat lol

I used to have a Webkinz, one of the only three I remember named "Chowie" and he was a cow. His leg got torn off when I was little and my older brother made me feel better by telling me he had diabetes because he chowed down on too much food. lol

I played Webkinz for years, getting my first one in first grade around 2004. They were all I wanted for my birthdays and I ended up amassing 30-40. My first one was a small black and white cat which I still keep.

I have a lot of good memories of spending entire playdates on Webkinz with my friends. I loved designing my house and playing the minigames. I too was very obsessed :blush:

oh my god, i was OBSESSED with webkinz. i also spent a lot of time on the forum webkinz insider when i was like, 11-12. jeez.
it was basically my life when i was 7-11. i spent all my time on there, wanted all the rare items (i was really mad when my friend accidentally sold or took or whatever my gold dress). i had webkinz in the triple digits, maybe 30ish of them. I don't know if i still have any of the actual plushies, probably somewhere. I think i started growing out of it when i got in middle school and when it introduced a bunch of changes that no one really liked. but yeah, i was obsessed with it.

I still love webkinz lol I can never grow out of my cute lil raccoons ;-;

As a matter of fact I actually have deluxe membership on there rn, I've been a member for 9 years and I still get on sometimes.

I plan on getting the signature red panda and prob naming him N64 Jr. Been wanting that one for like 6 years and I will get it at some point...

I used to play it a lot when I was younger! Took a while to get the Crown of Wonder, haha

Omg that game was my childhood

I would get a new Webkinz whenever i got a good report card, it was my motivation.

I remember my username, but not my password. I wouldn't be shocked if Webkinz killed my account for inactivity.

My friends were OBSESSED with them and had 20+ each. They got me 1 for my birthday, and I played it a little but I never really got into it.
I just never understood the hype really. I turned to nintendogs for my digital pet fix :p
