Mii followed me home from a dream town?

This is odd. Please tell me if it's supposed to happen.

I used the Dream Suite like I've used it many times before. However, when I was done playing NL and was at the home screen, I noticed a new notification. I checked my Mii plaza and there she was, the mii from the Japanese dream town I'd visited. That has never happened before. When I checked the mii's profile, it said we met "by invitation". Am I being clueless? Is this something that's supposed to happen?

I know it's got something to do with your Mii Plaza settings. Somewhere, you can pick if you only want to receive Miis from people you streetpassed, or if you also want to receive Miis from people you've somehow interacted with in games through wifi. I don't know the details or if I'm even right about that, but I believe there should be an option in your Mii Plaza somewhere that lets you choose what Miis you want to receive.

Hope someone else can shed some more light on this!

Oooh. That may be it. I really am clueless! My 3DS is as new as my NL game. I did activate spotpass and streetpass. I don't think I did anything extra... but I'm clueless so I may have done that.

From what I remember they just popped up at my plaza, they didn't actually enter like the Miis you meet via streetpass. I also don't remember being able to get puzzle pieces from them, so don't go banging your head now.

Ever since I joined Club Tortimer, Miis have been showing up "by invitation."

Do you mean after you have visited his house in the Happy Home Showcase area?

This is not the case for the mii that showed up at my plaza. She showed up after I visited her town via the Dream Suite.

Just to make it clear, the Mii's received by invitation they CAN'T help you with puzzles pieces or the other minigame. Personally I feel they just clog up the plaza so i'm turning the option off.

Which option is that? I have no idea what it is that I have enabled in activating my spotpass and streetpass features. I still want to be able to get Miis for my plaza and new houses added to the Happy Home Showcase.

Happened to me too, however I didn't get their house in the HHA Plaza... Whats the point then?
