Hey everyone.

So Nintendo's debut smart device application "Miitomo" is officially set to launch in Japan next week! It's been announced that we're supposed to receive it in March as well, so we could see an official launch in the States as well as EU not too long after, or immediately after the Japanese launch.

For those of you who don't know what Miitomo is, it's basically a social app coming to smartphones by Nintendo which is completely centered around your Mii's. You can dress them up, let them mingle with your friends Mii's, chat with your friends, and more. A lot of people have described it to be Tomodachi for smartphones.

I'll try it out, but seeing as it's just like Tomodachi Life, it won't suck up a lot of my time. That game didn't wow me.

I'm so excited for Nintendo phone apps. I really hope they put out some really good ones. Miitomo is actually giving me hope since their first big advertised app isn't some Mario Puzzle Dragon crap... I don't know that I have any friends that would play this so I guess I better start making them around here xD

Technically, the first Nintendo-LICENSED iPhone game is Pokemon Shuffle. But that's a port that tires SPP out, so...

Yeah the company has had a few titles launch on mobile, I still need to get Pokemon Shuffle. Miitomo is seemingly being pushed as the company's first full fledged dive into the Mobile industry, mainly because it's exclusive to the mobile platform.
