Yeh... it's been months since I updated my old art thread so I decided to start fresh! Let that spring fever rush in

So yep. I plan on posting some drawings that I liked from my old thread on here but I'll do that later (probably never lmao).

For now have a WIP I'm working on. We had to create a chara in graphic design and then make an illustration of them! She's still nameless so any name recommendations would be nice ^0^

Her clothing still needs a little tweaking since I rushed to make her (lesson: don't procrastinate on your project kiddos)

Also so this thread doesn't die, here's a drawing I did for a dear friend of mine!

I drew it for her b-day on 4/19 and she would've turned 19 years old if she was still alive! It's her OC, Princess Tiramisugoi!

Thank you! I don't know if you can tell, but the outline is actually pink! Kristin (my friend) always inked her art with a pink pen and it blended really well with her coloring style! I'm still in high school ;_; And my GD teacher is very chill. He likes and actually lets us use different styles for illustrations!(I know it was huge surprise to me too since I was an art student until last year).
I've seen my classmates works and some do realism while others do cartoony styles and others do anime-esque (cough me cough) and it's really gr8 seeing a variety of work and letting students draw what they want.

Oh ok. I thought you were around the age of your friend (18-20), so maybe you were in college. You're so lucky you have graphic design in your school. All my high school has is studio art, so it's all traditional. It's painstakingly slow.

I'm 18! Finally graduating this summer and going to college this fall I kinda miss art studio though, messing with paint and charcoal but do i miss the self conceited art students? nah < w >);

Also yeah i remember portraits took forever to finish and when i tried to rush through it it came out looking bad. If i were to go back to painting i don't think i'd have the patient for it lmao

Okay so paint girl was taking forever to draw on illustrator so I decided to finally finish the design for BonBon the bun-bot! (bunny robot lol)

originally she was going to be called KAI but you know things change when going through the design stage :3c
