The Themes
The Superbowl!
As I'm sure all you American Football fans out there will know, the Superbowl is coming up in 1 month! The Superbowl is the match between the American Football Conference champions, and the National Football Conference champions. So far, the possible contestants have been narrowed down to the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings. The kick off is on February the 7th at 6:30pm EST.
There will be two playoff games this Sunday to determine who plays in the Superbowl between those 4 teams.

The Haiti Earthquake
After the important deciding poll to see whether or not this should be a theme, the scores were 7 Yes votes, and 6 "No" votes. However, I know for a fact that 2 of the No votes were from people who aren't involved in MINS, so their votes don't count. 7-4 is actually quite a big difference, so I decided to go ahead with it.
The Haiti Earthquake scored a catastrophic score of 7.0 on the magnitude scale. The earthquake occured at 16:53:10 local time on Tuesday the 12th of January. There were at least 33 aftershock earthquakes recorded, all of them being between 5.0 and 5.9 on the scale. Approximately 3million people were affected, says the International Red Cross, and the Prime Minister announced yesterday that between 100,000 and 200,000 would have died. 70,000 bodies have been buried at present.
Having this as a theme is by no means disrespect, but more to respect the occasion and remember it, rather than go along with our lives like nothing happened.

"Crumbling Liverpool"
Anybody that is a fan of Football(soccer) in England will know that the great team Liverpool, is having an unbelievably bad season. They are amongst all time great teams, being one of the most successful teams in the European Cup, winning it 5 times. They are also one of the best teams in the English Premier leagues, having won it 18 times.
However, this year they have been knocked out of the European Cup in the group stages, are struggling in 7th position in the Premier League, and were last week knocked out of the F.A Cup with Reading. This is said to be Liverpool's worst season in over 50 years.

Well, those are the 3 themes. I hope that everyone can do one they get inspiration for!
Remember, the signature deadline is the 26th of January, so if you want those points, don't forget!!!
