As most NSiders know Nintendo does an annual tour where they not only release new news about a system or game but have a concert(not video game music) The official site can be found here.
The cover band plays Emo music, the rest play punk. And it seems that not a lot of Nintendo fans like Emo music such as Hawthorn Heights if any. Why would Nintendo book a band that a lot of NSiders dislike?
Many say Nintendo made a huge mistake by doing this but I beg to differ. Hopefully it will draw in crowds that aren't used to Nintendo. By presenting to them the Wii and letting them try it they will hopefully take an interest in gaming and/or Nintendo. Nintendo isn't just trying to sell the Wii but expand the types of gamers. Thus, expanding the market which helps the econemy grow and gets Nintendo some money.
