There's no way to turn off AI karts in local multi...?

I never thought I'd say this, but Ninty, you've let me down here. For real. To be honest, though, I never expect Mario Kart Wii to be "up there"... anyone remember Nintendo's choice to outsource it to another developer?

Yeah, it's not a commonly known fact, but Mario Kart Wii wasn't actually developed in-house... which explains a lot of the flaws.

Wow, This is not at the top of the list for MK disappointments, but it still is all adding up. Mario Kart DS, anyone?

MKDS was a disappointment? 0_0

Sure, it's automatically "meh" for being on a portable (multiplayer gaming is meant to be done on a TV), but... I thought it was pretty well made.

But yeah, looks like Nintendo was pressured into making a solid online experience... which they did... but then they forgot about the local multiplayer. Pity.

No, I meant did anyone want to play MK:DS.

MK:DS is the best game for the DS.

How could you even think that was what I meant D=

Ohhh... sorry, the wording threw me off.

:p

But yeah, I dunno. I was never too excited for Mario Kart Wii, and my gut feeling told me it'd be average... and my gaming gut feeling has never been wrong so far.

Gah.

You couldn't race against AI opponents in Double Dash so I actually like this a bit.
