So, have yew guys ever gotten yer room to be the model room?
I did! Yah! And I'm only on my first expansion. So what did Lyle tell you? He told me it had a grown up feel or whatever.....yah. Well I got bonus points for my jukebox and ivory piano....

Who's room did you also get before? I got ummm Chief's room. >_>
Oh, and how many points do you have from the HRA?
I have like 12,000 something. [Oh but I've gotten in teh 40,000 in AC:GC <_<]

last week my house was the model room, and i had about 60,000 points when i won. i forgot what the theme was, but i just had all jingle furniture. this week i have jingle furniture still, a master sword, the nook's cranny thing, and some hybrids around my house. now i have 65,000 points.

something i don't understand though is that one of my friends on my friend roster sent me a letter ingame and told me that in his city, my town was the model room. i doubt everyone saw my room as the model room, so it makes me wonder what it takes to be able to see each other's rooms if we win the model room...

i just checked my model room that's on display, and it's... "the room that had the most 'grown up' feel" and the winner was Gloria from Emmett, lol.

The city is supposed to feel like it's the same city amongst everyone on your friends roster. That's why they can see your room in the HRA model, and you can see theirs if they get it.

It's also how the auction house works.

The animals roaming around the city will tell me about my friends visiting the theater or getting on the bus.

I had 107,000 points 2 weeks in a row, and the first week they only sent me the small house model. That's why I left everything the same so I'd get the wide house model the second week. Seems silly they wouldn't just send both for hitting both points targets in one week.

Apparently that room got picked for the HRA model for having the entire Jingle set, too. But I had it all crammed in the room with my bonsai and vase collections on tables around the walls.
