Mole Crickets

I have been digging and digging for one. I have a question? Would they be under Flowers that I have planted?
My first post here. So far I have been able to get answers without actually posting

I've never had an experience where it was under flowers, no. It's mostly trial and error, listening for their sound, seeing where it's the loudest, then digging in the open areas where you hear it most. Once you find it, it will pop out of the hole, but it will head to the nearest water source, so you have to switch from the shovel to the net quickly.
