Moons Art Dump!! Looking for criticism and opinions on pricing commissions

Hello! I'm curious what people think of my art, im open to criticsm! As well as I'm interested in what you think you'd pay for it
I may open up commissions in the museum shop! I have commissions open on my social media because I need to save up for a new pc, my laptop rn is making it super difficult to make art/do schoolwork/do anything really (I use an ipad for these drawings)

A lot of my art is based on D&D (I listen to a d&d podcast called Just Roll With It so i make fanart of that) but a few of the drawings are my OCs or my own d&d characters!

your art is gorgeous!! i’m honestly not great with prices nor can i help out with anything RLC-related lol but if you decided to accept tbt as payment, i’d personally be willing to pay around 200 tbt for a piece!

finished one of my sketches! although i might add a bit more shading as well as a different background colour since the dark background i think drowns things out a bit too much

this is my d&d character called Mint! hes not been having a good time recently since one of the other player characters hasnt been the nicest aha :c

I’m terrible at RLC pricing and I’m not an artist or anything so I feel a little funny offering advice on that. Maybe I’ll just throw a little tag at @Plume and @ReeBear because they have RLC shops and might have better advice on pricing!

If you ever open up to TBT commissions though easily priced at like 200+!! Especially with the more detailed ones with backgrounds I’d pay 400TBT or so for that. Even more more two characters! Especially two full body characters people with such nice art are the reasons I can’t save my bells lol I just want to buy everything

I know the museum has been a little slow lately (people trying to save TBT for an upcoming event) so if you do open a TBT shop and don’t see much traffic right away that’s likely the cause.

Am happy to discuss RLC pricing as much as my experience allows :’) Some basic rules I tend to use are:
-don’t undersell yourself - you should be making minimum wage at least - a good rule of thumb for starting out is minimum wage + extra to cover your skills and your materials - (materials still counts for digital art - you want to consider the bigger costs this has upfront as opposed to smaller regular costs with traditional)
-if you’re unsure, start with a lower or introductory price for a limited time - make sure you reflect on how much time you’re putting in and how much you’re getting paid and increase as necessary as you become more confident in what you’re offering
-Offering a range of styles at a range of prices is a great way to make your art accessible without overworking yourself for little reward

TL;DR don’t do what I did when I started out of taking £10 for multiple days worth of work - value yourself and your work <3
