It was a few months ago when I found it. I don't remember where it was at, but I read that the 3DS will be completely compatible with Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi, including DSiWare. It could turn out to be false, though. Who knows. But Nintendo did trademark "3DSWare" recently, so it's safe to assume that the 3DS will have some kind of shop where you can download games. Whether that shop has the new "3DSWare" in addition to DSiWare or not is yet to be seen. And we also don't know if it will be possible to transfer your DSiWare from your DSi or DSi XL over to a 3DS, but Cammie Dunaway hinted at that possibility in a recent interview.
