Does anyone have any tips or tricks to move them out? I have 10 villagers and 3 are dreamies (marshal, Kiki, flurry) but the other 7 are ugly and I don't want them. I've tried ignoring them, hitting them with a net, and going to the next day. Supposedly they're supposed to have a lightbulb but for me some of them will have an exclamation point and be like Yooo player! and want to talk to me instead. Has anyone moved out villagers yet? I want to empty a space and slowly fill it with villagers I like (I have the amiibo cards). I wanna know how it looks when they wanna move out in ACNH but yeah hopefully this can also help other people out because the starting villagers are not cute at a l l

I heard Isabelle can move them out for you, however, can't confirm since I'm not that far myself yet.

I'm already that far because I tt'ed I don't think she can. All you can do is complain about how they talk or their clothes, either it doesn't exist or you unlock it later not sure

I don't think there's a specific way to move them out, it just happens with time. When a villager wants to move out, they'll be walking around thinking with a cloud over their head. They move out the next day I'm pretty sure, and their house is gone but the plot remains for future villagers. It's a pain having ones you don't want but the moving process is better than ACNL at least.

That's interesting, I'm going to continue each day to see if one of them has the cloud. I'll let you guys know
I think ACNL was around the same though because I remember you would constantly need to TT and see if they would ping :(

I'm not this far into the game yet either so can't confirm if it works, but I heard somewhere that ignoring them or reporting them to Isabelle are two methods.

Report them to Isabelle for three consecutive days. They'll come up to you after these three days (perhaps on the fourth day then?) and ask you if you have a problem, and if they should "just leave". I think this is the way you can do it through Isabelle. Don't quote me on this though, this is just what I heard and I have yet to test it out myself... I wonder if it works if you still only have the 5?
