Well, it happened. I reset the game because I felt horrible about doing so much Tme Traveling to get certain villagers moved in, that I felt like I had ruined my little island. However, that is not the issue. I set the clock back to Friday, reset, and have been spending most of the day trying to get back to today, and well, I did it. I even built the three houses (though I can't say that without thinking of Fire Emblem, though I can't complain since I love that series). Anyway, I forgot to go to islands to see who I could get, and the three who moved into the houses, I have very diiffering thoughts on.

First off Egbert. I like him fine, but not someone I want on my island. If it was Ken, maybe, but not Egbert.

Second is Patty, and I hate the cow villagers.

Third was Bertha, and she is one I WANT to keep, but can't think of a way to have her fit the RWBY theme. I might keep her anyway.

However, has anyone moved anyone out yet? If so is it the same random stuff after filling your town with villagers, or is there new ways to GET them to leave?

ugh i got egbert and peaches as my randoms so i feel you. i want them out asap but they havent even fully moved in yet

Once you get 10 you can start kicking out specific villagers using amiibo cards with the campsite. That's the only method I know of so far.

Is that true? That would be a real game changer for me. I am stuck because I really don't want to force my 10 villager limit like the game is trying to make me because I thought moving them out would be a pain. If you can kick them out with Amiibo cards that would be no issue with me.

great to know and thank you for this, because every villager in my town is a villager that i don't want.

can you do online trade with other people's amiibo cards even when you have 10 villagers? would that force somebody out, or are you obliged to have your own?

You can kick unwanted villagers out with the amiibo cards when you have 10 in your town.
You ask the amiibo card villager to move in and they convince the unwanted one to move out.
Otherwise, villagers might want to move out when you only have 8 of them but in that case it will be a random villager.

Yep! I can confirm it, I've kicked out 2 villagers already. If you invite an animal with an amiibo and invite them once your town is full, they'll try to negotiate with a chosen villager to see if they want to move. I have no idea if they can decline or not.

Here's an image showing what I mean!

So how exactly do you kick them out with Amiibo cards? Do you just scan it an suddenly another villager will want to move out?

Just scan it 3 days in a row while crafting their requested item each day, and they'll want to move in even if your town is full. Then you can choose which villager will move out.

How do you get 10? Also, how do you use amiibo cards and the camp site to do that?

After you build Nook's Cranny, Nook will have you build a bridge and then 3 villager plots. You can either invite 3 villagers from ticket tours before building the plots or you can let it be random. After those 3 villagers move in, Nook will tell you you can purchase additional plots (up to 10 villagers) for the price of 10k bells each. You'll buy the plots and place them in advance and a villager will move in randomly or if you invite from camp/ticket tour/another town etc.

Will the villager who's being kicked out be in boxes the next day?

Nope, they'll be in boxes on the same day you talk to your camper about kicking them out. The next day the plot will be empty and it will say sold to the camping villager. The day after that, they move in. Hope this helps!

Definitely does, thank you so much!
