Museum-related Question

In the description of the sub-forum it says:

"Display your creations! Come here to show your fan-art, signatures, avatars, poems, songs, or anything else made by you."

I am just wondering up to what point "anything else made by you" goes. I have an YouTube channel where I post Smash Bros. Ultimate stuff and will eventually post Team Sonic Racing/Crash Team Racing AND Animal Crossing Switch stuff, and I wanted to know if it is okay to make a thread for me.

I am also an artist but my art sucks so there is no point in sharing it ;-;

If you want to make a thread showing off your youtube videos then I don't see what the issue is. But if the staff comes to you and says you can't do it, then you could always leave a link to your channel in your signature

I wouldn't see why not. Maybe if you share one of the videos in the original post, so instead of just advertising, you're sharing your work. I saw another user do something similar with his music.

This is all a guess though, but it should pass!

Thanks, people. I will give it a go tomorrow. I suppose I could play safe and make it an art thread (but like I said, my art is... something else lol) with a little of YouTube every now and then.

I was going to say that this sounded okay, but then I remembered I had seen the staff close a couple of threads that advertised YouTube channels, so i looked at the rules to see what they said about it, and this was listed under prohibited content:

Threads and posts created solely to advertise your blog, forum, Discord server, Tumblr, YouTube, website, shop, contest/entry, etc.. Instead, use your signature to share these websites, but be sure to follow the signature rules.

So, if I?m not mistaken, the main point is that the thread can?t JUST be dedicated to your YouTube channel, so showing your art alongside your videos is a good idea! ^^

So, if I’m not mistaken, the main point is that the thread can’t JUST be dedicated to your YouTube channel, so showing your art alongside your videos is a good idea! ^^
