Museum Shop Question

Soooo, I've donated waay over 20 items and with at least 1 in every category, and the Museum Shop isn't in my community projects list. Anyone know why? Do I have to build more projects before the museum shop shows up?
Please, if anyone knows, share your wisdom with me.

I believe you need to also have been mayor for a certain amount of time. Otherwise, the project is added when you talk to Blathers while he is thinking. Have you spoken to him since you've filled the requirements?

Cool, I was wondering this myself... I have fish bugs and diving creatures at 50% and have donated everything I have found. I have donated one thing to the art section and have donated the 4 fossils everyday, too.
