I'm sorry I fell a few steps short,
I'm sorry I can't satisfy you anymore,
I'm sorry these times are getting rough,
I'm sorry my best just isn't enough.

I'm sorry I'm not rich and famous,
I'm sorry I'm lost and faithless,
I'm sorry I can't be more for you,
I'm sorry your dreams for me will never come true.
