If an animal in town gave me a nick name and i am sick of it how do i get them to change it.
also (guess this has 2 ?'s) i just had some one move out, how can i make sure my new animal moving in wont kill my lil gardens

Try going to the town hall and telling them you have a problem with a rude neighbor. I think that resets the catch phrase, but I don't know about nicknames.

My new neighbors just keep moving into the spots that were recently vacated. *shrug*

I'd advise not building any gardens you want to keep near the signs all around town, as that's where any new houses would go.

I'm not sure about Q1. But Q2 - there isn't really an answer. I don't think they steal stuff, but I could be wrong, if you want it to be a 'green' town, I suggest maybe planting things by your house, or maybe a secret spot? (Where not many people go). Like someone said before, don't plant anything where the noticeboard is when someone leaves.

To change their greeting or their catch phrase, go to Pelly (Or Phiylis) at the civic center window and report a problem, tell them which neighbor is having the problem, and tell them what they say is bad, and they'll change it back to default.
