My Dreamies Might Be Changing Again. Please Help!

I have recently recruited a few villagers from islands last night/early this morning (like 3 am early). And am having trouble decidiing what it is I want to do.


For sure Dreamies: Hans, Zucker, Cherry, Ankha, Judy, Rory, Hopper

Possible Dreamies: Nana, Tammi, Bam, Apple, Chester, Ken


I know that I listed Tammi as a Dreamie, but that was before I ran into Nana this morning. I am very unsure if I really want 2 monkey villagers, even though I am one of the people who REALLY like them. Sure they look NOTHING alike aside from the model, one being a pink monkey and the other a yellow ring tailed lemur. Then there is the Chester or Ken thing I asked about yesterday, but now I have invited Bam a few minutes ago, ginving me ANOTHER possible extra male. Apple could be a replacement for Tammi if I somehow find her and if I decide to get rid of Tammi. I am REALLY unsire of what I want to do.

Anyone else having a problem with only 10 villagers? Any reccomendations on what I should do with these extra ones I currently have like Bam? I like his design a lot, but I am not sure I want 2 Jocks, and Rory is someone I would LOVE to have since lions are my favorite animal.

Maybe I could trade Bam? If I remember, he is popular. I doubt he is Ankha popular, so I doubt I can get her, but maybe one of the others? But even then I don't know if I want to get rid of him.

Yeah I also tend to change dreamies quite alot as well. The only villagers I feel I’ll always want are Stitches, Audie, and Reneigh. I’m not sure if I am gonna be able to be satisfied with whoever I decide to ultimately get at the end. I’m annoyed that the villager limit is 10 but at the same time I don’t mind since there’s only going to be duplicates of villager personalities you would already have. I’ll just have to learn to accept whoever I get I guess.

I think you should get Nana and Apple seeing how your for sure dreamies list lacks a Normal and Peppy villager.

i definitely wish we could have more than 10 villagers - theres way too many that i like lmao. what i would do is get whoever you find first and keep them around for a while - if you don’t want them to leave after experiencing them, there’s your answer

I am considering them both right now. Plus, I really feel that the villager limit should have been 12.

I think trying out new villagers is a really important part of the game because sometimes you'll really want a villager but once they're in your game you just don't jive with them/like them as much as you thought/hoped you would. Sometimes you don't really care for a villager when they're moving in and they win you over. I'm a big fan of changing up my island. I plan on having one or two spots on my island that I rotate around villagers just to keep things interesting.

So my advice is to just let the game play out, don't focus on a set of 10 for sure dreamies, especially if there are a bunch you like (I'm in the same boat) and let a few spots on your island be rotating until you find who you mesh with the best.
