Also, have you covered all the original stone areas in your town with patterns? I never thought to do that; might help my paths blend into the buildings a little better. Actually, I didn't realize you could cover them. Hmm.... I might have to see how that looks.

Thanks! I've been buying all the clothes and accessories for about a week now I think, still got a way to go though!

That pic of from Mum's town, she's covered all the ones she can by the station, not sure if she's done the same with the other areas but I've covered all the ones I can by my town hall.

It looks good depending on the pattern but does get annoying when there's the one or two spaces by the doors that it wont let you cover!

She's pretty darn cool! She's always liked games but it used to mainly be puzzles and hidden object things. I got her hooked on wild world a few years after it came out, now she has that, city folk and new leaf haha.

Playing mario kart with her is super fun too. For someone with a real driving license, she crashes her kart a lot haha.

Ah, thanks. I tried covering areas last night, and it does let you cover the station, town hall, the tree, and Re-Tail areas. You're right about those spaces in front of the doors - a bit annoying. But I'm laying paths to be guidelines for planting bushes right now, so I'll probably take them up once everything is planted.
