Ok guys. So my boys got me moon for Christmas. Honestly, my first Pok?mon game ever other than go. No judgment please. I've been pretty much just animal crossing for years (well plus MK, SSB and mario golf). I beat the game on Monday. After doing the ultra beast mission, I decided to test my luck at shinys. I wanted rockruff first so I spent a couple of hours doing the sos thing with no luck yesterday. I started again today after I changed my team up a bit, and no joke, I got that pretty blue puppy after 10-11 reg ones!!!! I was so excited!!!! Anyway, just wanted to share my joy! Bless my sweet boys for giving me a new addictive game to play while i PATIENTLY wait for my 3rd try at the Sanrio cards!!! GameCo has supposedly now sent me them twice. I ordered in nov and had them reorder again in early Jan. Still haven't received so I gave up and bought them on ebay.

That's awesome! Maybe I'll try to catch or breed a shiny Rockruff. The evolutions are cool. The only legit shiny I found in Moon was a Trumbeak and I was just trying to evolve Pok?mon at the time.

Congratulations on so many levels. Rockruff is so flipping adorable, and getting your first shiny is one of the best experiences Pokemon has to offer, at least in my opinion. Super happy for you!
Thx so much!!!! I'm lucky to have my oldest that gives me advice and teaches me as we go! I've been working on dexxing as well. He and I help each other out a lot. Now that they've updated pokebank, I have a couple more shiny's thx to him. He gave me my first shiny mew and I luv her!!! I'm determined to grind and get a shiny vulpix next!!!
