Hi and welcome to my island diary,

it´s a new year, so let`s start playing again with new goals in mind!


Day 1

Here we have our aspiring island rep Marina in front of her little house. It´s only been four moths in-game, since she came to live on this island, but the community is prospering and while there´s really really a lot to do, the villagers enjoy their peaceful and happy life together on this island.
The island rep is very young, rather inexperienced, but also ambitious, she`s hardworking and is always trying to help everyone!

Today the weather is nice, so let´s not be lazy and start cleaning up!
Unfortunatelly the rep has a tendency to hoard...ehm collect items and resources, even clothes, but storage is still very limited, so this is what happens, piles of stuff lying on the ground.
"But what if I need it later..." is the rep Marina`s catchprase. She`s working on bettering this bad habit!

Today´s visitor is Kicks, he´s got some fancy bags and shoes, today he has paws for sale? The rep is a bit surprised... but she buys them anyways for catalogue completion...

After doing her daily chores, the rep loves to visit the villagers she hadn´t meet yet on this day. Here Marshal seems very immersed in an important DIY project, let`s watch him a bit while relaxing after work.

Day 2

It´s early morning and rep Marina rolls out of her bed, what will she accomplish today? Hopefully at least something...though just having fun is so very tempting^^

Just when she leaves through her door, she stumbles over Molly, a resident in Elfensee since the start. She seems to be in deep thought, an existential crisis maybe...? "Oh, does this mean Molly is thinking about moving away? But we all love you, how could you TT" , the rep decides to hide and leave Molly to herself for now, thinking "Molly is a great friend, and also the only "normal" person here, we can´t live without her!!! Hopefully she stays with us."

"Aha today our harvest is ready, let`s get to it right away, and don´t forget to water the crops, like last time!"

After finishing the harvest, Marina decided to write Molly a letter, to let her know how much she is loved by everyone! <3

Day 3

Today Flick pays a visit to the island! Okay, time to earn some bells, let`s catch some critters for him, come here, little ones! Hopefully these could help with Flick´s art quest... Besides, the rep discovered a new bug, a Ladybug to donate to the museum, it`s so cute <3

Later in the afternoon, the rep goes on a boat tour with Kapp’n, in hopes to get to a special island, and to collect some wood and the recipe bottle. Sadly only the most common island type appeared, so she decided to hit the rocks, and luckily a rare golden crystal spawned! (Do others have better luck with these?)
Before leaving, she watched the sun beautifully setting under the horizon, the sky glowed in a deep orange.

Day 4

Another peaceful island day! After waking up, the rep takes a walk through the terrain to finally start fighting the island´s biggest enemy, the all consuming flower monster!!!!!1

Yeah to achieve perfect town status and the golden watering can, rep Marina allowed all the flowers to overtake free space and also bred lots of hybrids she might later need to decorate the island. Now that the community achieved PTS just a few weeks ago (in-game time, in reality it`s like 6 months), it`s really time to clean up, and sort out which of the flowers to keep around.
"I´ll start with getting rid of the small flower patches, so they don´t spread further, then onto the bigger ones!" is the rep`s smart (?) plan.

"Dang this will take weeks, sigh..."

So many flowers...

Is this a case of flower rage?!!

Day 5

Today the rep starts the day with a shopping tour! Oh this new item is really cute, a Hamster cage, and the mirror behind is also new, but only good enough to catalogue.

Afterwards the rep heads towards the town center, and runs into Rosie who is diligently and humbly doing community service, even though she´s an aspiring pop star!
Thank you Rosie for your help to keep the island clean, we, the islanders, are your loyal fans already! <3

Rep Marina finishes the day with doing her usual chores: searching the recipe bottle on the beach, collecting Nook miles and doing a few tasks, riding the boat tour with Kapp´n, watering flowers, getting some wood, and visiting the villagers!

Day 6

Another shiny new day has begun, today the rep plans on cleaning up some stuff and starting a new garden area!

So, here the rep placed a newly crafted Country fence pieces and closed the area by planting bushes inbetween, so that all the flowers planted within can´t spread out. She plans a 3 colour flower pattern with White, Pink and Green Mums. Since we don´t have enough of these flowers yet, they will be added later, gonna breed some more!

Some progress: the rep got rid off most of the previous flowers and planted the mums she grabbed from throughout the island! It looks very cozy, but gonna find out a nice colour scheme for planting the 3 colours.

In the afternoon, the rep notices Plucky dozing off under a pear tree, aww she looks so comfortable! ^^

Day 7

Oha, here we have the villager that most recently moved to our beautiful, but still young island: it´s the adorable Katt, the rep´s bestie!
(Katt is only the 13th villager.)

She has the biggest smile ever and takes good care of all the islanders. Rep Marina met her on a mystery island and Katt threa… ehem convinced the rep that she can help to get the island going into the right direction! Well, not quite sure which direction she thought of…but Katt loves pranking the villagers, she´s a little mischievous bundle of… joy!

"What is this mess, just clean up already, rep, it`s for your future...!!!"
Besides, she can also be seen scolding the rep to clean up the island, especially all the flowers and items, thanks Katt for keeping the rep on her toes!

Day 8

First thing today, rep Marina decides to visit Brewster´s cafe, there`s nothing better than starting the day with a nice cup of hot coffee!

On her tour across the island, rep Marina discovered that she finally grew a purple tulip, yay! That means only 2 hybrids left to breed, purple pansy and purple windflower. However, the rep traded for blue roses from another island, because the method to breed these seemed even more complicated than in previous times, so this time the rep just can´t be bothered...no, just NO

Later the rep ran into the island`s fashion icon Dotty, who dressed up nicely, look at that cute bow and super stylish handbag, snazztastic!!!

Day 9

Ahh, the weather is sunny again today, so we`re going to decorate the island a bit, all while cleaning up some more!

Rep Marina decides to place a lighthouse on the rock isle on the upper left beach, does it look nice?

And a cute pastel bench to take a break after work.

More flower woes, please don´t eat up our island!!! It takes sooo long to cull them all...

Is it goat day today? Here we have both goat villagers Velma and Sherb out and about!

Sherb seems really immersed in his book, what are you reading? Something sad?
(The weeds are so pretty in this game! <3)

Lastly, Del sitting besides the river, does he dream of getting into the water maybe?

Day 10

Today the rep decides to do something about her health, because her back hurts really badly from all the work, “So glad we have a streching group here, I need to go more often, hrmpf, why am I so lazy hhmm…” she mumbles to herself. “And I´m not getting any younger…”.

Label is visiting this time, let´s have a silly chat ^^

The theme is horror this time ohh scary? These are the pieces she gave the rep.

Looking through some random clothes that are lying around to put an outfit together for Label, the rep does a little dress-up party!
"Okay how to look super dorky!?"

Next the rep`s visiting the villagers.
Here we have sweet Ione immersed in cooking!

Aaah stars in her eyes! OH MY IS THIS THE NEXT LEVEL OR JUST AN ILLUSION

Yesss, a book date with Katt!

Just another common island, but a very pretty scenery.

The sun is setting on our island, the sky shines dreamlike in golden colours! <3
