"I have an idea for a video game that you guys at Nintendo could possibly make.
My and my friend have been day dreaming about buying a Mac, and buying some software to make applications for the iTouch, and the iPhone. So, since that will cost us about $1200 or more, I was wondering if you could make our dream come true.

My idea in this, which we both agreed to, was to make a combination of like Kindgom Hearts, and Harvest Moon. Now, the idea with the Kingdom Hearts was that had an incredible story line, and you could fight things, and I liked that idea. So, we would start off the game with choosing a class. Warrior, Wizard/Mage, Rouge/Theif, Archer, ect. Plus, the Harvest Moon idea comes in here. Rather than just going around fighting things, you could also grow crops and stuff. My choice of the name was, "Bloo Moon." I figured this would be pretty popular, and I wanted to give it a shot. So, if you could give me some feedback on this, that would be great. It would also be a pretty simple game to put Wi-Fi in. Thank you for your time."

Sadly, after I read Nintendo's terms of service thing, it said something like "As much as we would love to use the creative ideas from you avid gamers, we sadly cannot." So basically that translates to, "As much as we would love to create your game, we don't have the time, and can only use things that our employees think of."

So, I'm kinda bummed. I wish they could make that game because it would be fun to see what it would be like. Time to pursue my dream to be a game maker. I guess....

Nintendo never reads their letters, it's an auto-reply system. A major-name company uses this program and finds the most related answer, my mom works at DirectTV so she knows. Even if they did read it, I don't think they'd make it, it would be a rip-off of the new Harvest Moon DS games which are like an RPG and a farming game, but eh... decent idea.

thanks... That would explain when I asked why they didn't want people to have the homebrew channel, my answer was...

"Thank you for your inquiry. Due to the terms of service of Nintendo, I cannot answer your question."

Thanks. Now give me a real answer... >.<

Well, Ninty doesn't want the Homebrew channel because it's an illegal application, hacking games or using emulators are pretty illegal. Even if you're using HBC just for other legal apps, it's still illegal since Ninty doesn't approve of it. They hate HBC because like said, illegal crap and it could get them in bad shape with their money.

Well, there's your answer to your question xD .

How very descriptive of you.

Oh yeah, and Nintendo doesn't care about there fans. If you want to see your ideas produced, and in advance: they probably won't, contact a small-time video game developer, because they are more likely to listen to their fans.

Very true, Major companies don't give a *censored.3.0* about their fanbase, all they care about is their chances of surviving and money.

Pokemon cares about their fanbase.

Did you know that?
Well, kind of. HeartGold/SoulSilver made me *censored.2.0* my pants, in a good way. But even so, they're not super big on their fanbase, but it's better then just sending a letter to let's say Microsoft. There are also game companies that respect their fanbase more then the Pokemon Company and gamefreak do.

Rune Factory ftw.

Though it's replay value for a Harvest Moon is bad.

And Blue Moon was the name of Galen's bar in HW:AWL, wasn't it?

Uh... Sony's the same thing, they're more stuck up then nintendo is.

Maybe you should be writing them on how to improve the next animal crossing game. I wonder when that will be? The next gaming system perhaps?
