The only game I have played so far is Galaga, and I may setup a video camera and fraps to make a good, effective video.

Yeah, its just a thin piece with six screws, might change it later to make it easier to get into.

I made it at vocational school, you could easily build one over a weekend. (Maybe)

Gamepad was less than $10, buttons are 1.25 each I think. What I used was leftovers from a larger project. The carpentry shop gave us the box, but you can use pretty much anything.

My teacher for some reason wouldn't let me pay him for the thing. : / He totaled it up(without the box) approximately $20. So, pretty cheap. One of my friends offered to paint the thing after seeing it. Pacman eating the buttons was her idea.

Edit: Oh, and soldering is hard as hell.
