my peach tree won't grow

My only non-native fruit won't grow. I planted it too spaces away from a cherry tree. It was on the gras too.

I don't get why my peach tree didn't grow!

Maybe it was too close to a building or a cliff/river? Sadly, you have to plant trees at least one space away on all sides. Also, all towns have "dead spots" where nothing will grow, so maybe you unluckily planted one in a dead zone :/

Actually, dead spots are completely real, for whatever reason Nintendo decided to include them =P You can get rid of them by placing a PWP around the area, I'm pretty sure. Unfortunately, you can't see dead spots which is why they are so annoying to some.

how do u know? ive had "dead spots" that ive fixed by removing a tree in the same area. i always thought that these were caused by overcrowding (since it happened to me alot bluhh)

Dead spots are real in Animal Crossing: Wild World where this topic is located. I remember planting rows of trees in Wild World that had adequate spacing apart and some would die randomly and never grow in certain spots. I don't think that there are dead spots in Animal Crossing: New Leaf though because I've never had a problem with planting a tree provided that it doesn't break the 12-chain bush/tree rule, the 15 tree/bush in every 7x7 plot rule, is not too close to a building, and has space all around the tree.

If in doubt, chop down a healthy tree, dig up the stump and plant the peach in that hole, it should always work.
