My Plaza tree shrunk?

Err, I don't know how to really describe this. I've had this game since early July.

According to this, http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Plaza , my tree was at the 50/50 stage.
But now it's down to the 5/5?

I was able to sit on it. Heck I did it just the other day and watched the credits. But now it's tiny. >:I


Did my game glitch or is it just a bug from the update?

That's weird. Do you TT? The only thing I can think of is that your game thought you had suddenly gone back to earlier when you did have a smaller tree.

The only time I TT is for plot resetting. :/ Don't think that'd affect it all too much. Hmm.
All I can hope is that it's just not frozen this way.
