I started drawing "for real" in December of 2009, the day before Christmas. I stopped by Wal-Mart and got a drawing and a sketch pad, along with some regular quality writing pencils. Since I've upgraded to the best products (or amongst them), I've gotten better. Thanks to Christmas money, I stopped by Micheal's Arts and Crafts and went crazy with my 50 dollars.
Seriously, these are like those "beginner pictures", I've got way better.
Here are two of my newer ones But I'm working on one right now, that I believe, is much better in pencil, at least as far as realism goes.
I'll put them in order of first to last. The teacup was the first drawing I've ever spent more than an hour on, I guess. It took three hours believe it or not. With no blending stumps or techniques, believe me, it was hard to achieve that look. It's not good, but I posted it just to show beginning to where I am now, which is on the other topic I made about my two drawings.
I omitted some pastel drawings and my first real portrait of myself. My aunt has it as a birthday gift, because she likes the fact that I like to draw.
Check out my newest ones on the next thread if you haven't, ten times better than these. I'm working on two at a time now.
