The fun in the game is in eagerly checking nook's every day hoping for a rare item and lamenting the irony when you can't afford it... Time Traveling defeats this... Now you will be distracted away from the game in less then a year, and then who will I play with?...

The reason they included the time changing feature in the game this time is for when DST kicks in, I assume.

"To each his[her] own." Very important to remember. Some ppl luv crowns, while some ppl shun crowns.
I personally think link set is better though. For all that money, on a 5x pts day at nook's, you could get 50,000 npts. With that, you could get a 20% discount at nook and get every npts items, in my opinion, that's better.

True, but they never stated that you could do that, all they said is: "The time in Animal Crossing is the same as the time in real life" or something the lines of that. So surely unless you're travelling through time in real life, one of the main things in the game is then taken away?

But that opens another gate for fun which allows an even greater amount of enjoyment.
I don't know if it's actually possible to 100% beat an AC game, TT or not.
(Hax kinda ruin it though, but the actual cheats in the original AC were good to get the ever awesome NES games)

Why do we have to get into the technicalities of what Nintendo said. Everybody should know that AC's purpose is a life sim that lets you go day to day, which is what Nintendo had in mind when they made it. Sure you can do what you want with it, but time traveling isnt the way Nintendo made the game to be played. Thats why you can make tons of cash and get rare furniture whenever you want when you TT, which IS cheating in a sense.
