my villager didn't put a wreath on their door?

this happened months ago when my villagers wouldn't hang up the mushroom and shell wreaths i gave them so i thought maybe they can't hang up seasonal wreaths

however i gave fauna a fancy lily wreath and she didn't hang it up, which was annoying since i don't have the materials to make another

has anyone else had this happen?

This happened with Hazel recently when I gave her a mushroom wreath. i rolled my eyes so far back when i checked the next day and it wasn’t up. WHYYY.. And she still hasn’t put it up.. Meanwhile I gave coach a windflower wreath and it was up the next day. would love to know why this happens?

Regarding seasonal wreaths, they are supposed to be able to put them up as long as they are in season, and then they will take them down when the season is over.

Repeatedly. I only donate flower wreaths, and since the update, not a one has found its way to a villager door.

that's strange, it might be the update but i recently gave my new villager, snake, a blue rose wreath and he put that on his door

I have also experienced this! Only this past week- first I gave Chief the snowflake wreath which he put up soon after but several days later I gave him the tree branch wreath and he never switched it. It has been about a week since I gifted him the new one.

This is very upsetting to hear as I planned on getting my villagers to put wreaths on their doors! Hopefully it'll be fixed in the next update.
