My villager Hearts Me

Those of you who played Harvest moon on the Wii would understand this.

What if Nintendo added a feature to the new animal crossing game that allowed us a open a panel to see how many friendship hearts are on our villagers, the more hearts the villager has the more stuff you can do with your favorite villager.

IMO, taking your villager with you to other peoples towns while having them follow you around would be neat.

And then at max hearts they never move unless you tell them they can? o: maybe??.. I'm so devastated when my villagers move. Thank god for villager locking in wild world.

That's a good idea with the hearts thing and getting to lock them in. Too bad can't force villagers to stay in new leaf.

I like the heart idea. Gives a good guideline where we stand with our villagers instead of guessing

I think that is a really good idea. I also think that the one villager in your town that becomes your best friend should not ever attempt to move out, unless your best friend status with that villager changes.

That sounds so cool, to take them around with you when they reach best friend level, and you can go to the club or the roost! Ahhhh I want it now ;o;

yeah, i agree! This is a really cool idea to incorporate. More hearts = stay, less hearts = inclined to leave. It's easier to monitor this way. Or else, like currently, no matter how much you bond with them - they can (and will) ask to move.

And if you get your friendship high enough, you can take them to the island and play games! That would be so cool ^-^

yeah, i'd definitely want a heart system/rating! and i'd love to be able to stop villagers from ever moving
i also think the idea of having an apartment building or something in your town so you could have more villagers while taking up less space would be awesome, kinda like the setup in magicians quest.

Even seeing your past villagers on the train that you have a high friendship with would be pretty cool, maybe even the bulletin board could tell you that one of your old neighbours that you had a high friendship with are coming to visit town today and it'd tell you what time they're arriving. That'd be pretty cute and I would love that feature. I know they had that feature in ACGC, but it wasn't as explored as that. I think villagers that are your bestfriend should still be allowed to move out, but they have to absolutely ask you about moving before they try to move because they want to know how you feel about it, like a bestfriend would. These are pretty cool ideas.
