As you were sitting there playing Animal Crossing for the gamecube have you ever stopped and wondered about where Tortimer actually lives? Why do you run into Rover everytime you ride the train? Why is Kapp'n always flirting with you? Why is Crazy Redd seemingly trying to scam or steal from you? Who is Wisp and where did he come from? Who is Wisps "Master"? How does Gracie get her car into your town when she can take the train? Shouldn't there be any backstories about these animals and creatures? Like a super secret event should take place revealing all the mysteries surrounding these weird animals? You'd think so with all these questionable antics the animals pull off...

Okay!

1) Tortimer probably lives in a hidden room in the Town Hall.
2) Rover owns the train line and rides the trains to talk to the people who ride it, to provide excellent customer service.
3) Kapp'n is lonely. I don't know if he mentions his wife in GC, but if he doesn't, then he's looking for one.
4) He's a criminal.
5) Maybe he's a genie, hence the lamp.
6) Dunno.
7) Gracie is Gracie. If you have money, you can pretty much do everything.

I'd love some more backstories on the other characters, outside of the Able Sisters, Tom Nook, and Blathers.
