In the evening, about the time where the school has after-school shows, plays, and musicals, a lot of my classmates and I were lined up across a chain link fence. In an instant, we had all been teleported to a small, crowded room with the choir teacher. She was saying stuff like "I hope you didn't forget your lines!" which I panicked at. At that moment, I realized it was a dream, and calmed down. However, the dream was not quite a lucid dream, as I could not, or saw no need to, control it.

Apparently I was not in the play, as we were in the auditorium (Which was smaller than usual) watching the play. I was apparently allowed to leave, because in an instant, I was teleported on campus, where me and some other people walked freely. As I walked, I ran into my computer teacher, who was smiling at me while holding a dictionary.

"I'm going to give you a word from this dictionary. If you can email me the meaning by tomorrow, I'll take you out for burgers. The word is hapable." He said. Suddenly, his features drastically changed, making him look younger. His hair that was balding slightly grew into a mass of spiky gray hair, and his beard was slightly shorter.

"Uh... your... your hair...?" I asked, awestruck.

"Oh, don't mind that. I'm a mermaid, and my powers are just coming true!" Apparently this was normal for the dream world, and this nonsensical statement made perfect sense. I suddenly forgot the word. My memory in the dream world was limited. I started pestering him for the word, and then, to cheat, for the dictionary page number. He just shook his head leaving me to recover the word myself.

I walked into a room, (We were apparently indoors now...?) with two blackboards meeting at the corner of the wall. Taking colorful chalk, I attempted to recover the word. Doggle! Dogable! Dog! I gave up, for my writing was horrible in the dream world. In fact, I didn't even know how to write! I then remembered the word. Hapable.

Seeing that I was in my house, and my kitchen was in the place where the chalkboard room had been, I decided that I should fly. (The feeling of flying in dreams is just amazing, trust me.) I flew around, and then, some stupid part of my subconsious tried to eat away at the dream to wake me up. I made sure it wouldn't. I flew fast around the house, ending up in my welcoming room.

"You've been very bad, (Brother's name)!" A mysterious woman was putting what looked like a cross between a Gamecube controller and N64 controller in a plastic box. She eventually walked out the door, apparently not seeing me. I could hear my brother crying for help from the box. Dreams often temporarily alter your memories to believe something is normal, and in this case, I believed that my brother had always been in this form.

I ripped the lid off the box, and took the tiny controller out of the box. For the rest of the dream, I hugged it while floating aimlessly throughout the dream, ending in the bathroom. While I was floating, however, I seemingly lost a physical body, and was looking at myself. Facts about me were floating across what seemed like a screen, accompanied by matching voices.

"(My name) was born on (My birthday.) (My name) has saved controllers 3 times."

I then woke up, which was a little sad. It was a rather enjoyable dream. Staying true to my mission throughout the dream, I looked up hapable's meaning.

It didn't exist. I wonder if I can still go out for burgers?
