Neat bonuses with movies and games

Do you kids still buy dvds and such?

It used to be more common but I remember some movies with neat bonus pack-in's like keychains, patches, and stickers. Older examples would include some of my Lupin movies with a little figure and friction car. Must have been an old Pioneer release. Recently I came across a 90's Street Fighter movie that was packaged with a umd disc of the first Ghost in the Shell movie. Then I did get to have a little fun finding someone that could actually play a umd.

With games there were some neat preorder bonuses, like my Donkey Kong Country Returns zippered banana pouch.

Are you all still getting any nice bonus swag with your stuff?

My dad and I were at the store one day and they had a Grease special/collector's edition, so it had a sleeve over the case that was the iconic black leather moto jacket and it also a sewn-on patch that says "Grease." You can find images of it on Google. Grease is one of his favorite movies so he thought it was pretty cool how they did that.

i still buy movies from time to time, but i usually just buy the dvd and not the extra price for bonuses.

for games though, i will preorder if there's something i really want or if i know the store's gonna be sold out of the game upon launch. i used to preorder a lot more often and, quite honestly, unnecessarily, but i've since stopped. now i only preorder if i need to or really want something that comes with the bonus.
