Need some cherries please!

They were my original town fruit but I somehow lost them all ages back and although I have perfect cherries, I have no regular cherries left!

Is there another way (I'm assuming not) or do I need to get them off someone else?

If so, I'd really appreciate if someone would let me visit their town and give me some cherries please? And at the same time possibly visit main street - if I can request something at Nook's Homes to be available in my town it'll get me a few CAT machine tokens If I could buy stuff in your shops I'd appreciate it but totally fine if not! I have good manners and won't take anything or ruin any flowers

You're also welcome to visit my town, I can give you some fruit if you like (but let me know and I'll give it to you as opposed to you shaking trees)
