Need some "song advice" (´• ω •`)

Heyo

So, collecting and listening to ALL the songs in nh hasn't been something I payed a lot of attention to. I'm as good as done with my islands after a long time working on it and one of the final things I wanted to do is add some radios here and there to play songs in the different areas but I have no clue where to start. Do you have songs playing on your island or know specific albums that would go well with the outdoors? All tips appreciated!

The theme of the island is pretty basic as in: it has farms, a village part, lots of nature and parks/forests, etc... so maybe summer vibe songs? or at least upbeat/happy =D

On my island, I have 2 areas with music playing. A little cafe (I used Animal City) and a tiki bar on the beach (here I used Surfin' K.K.)

I think K.K. Island has great summer/tropical vibes but K.K. Stroll reminds me more of a walk through the forest/nature so it could work better if your island is full of nature

while i’ll eventually have some music playing around my island, i don’t atm since all of my areas are still incomplete and therefore i don’t know what music would best suit them aha. but going off of your theme, i feel “forest life” could be nice to have playing in an area or two! and maybe “k.k. country” for your farms? :’o

So far I'm only using K.K. Island on my beach, and K.K. Marathon in an area with mermaid furniture.

Other than that I think I'll stick to music inside houses, but I haven't decided on any songs yet. I had a room with tandom music in NL that I changed every time I entered, maybe I'll do that again.

Edit: wait I forgot the haunted house that's using K.K. Waltz and K.K. Dirge.

I put a music player playing K.K. Song on the lowest volume in my park near the plaza specifically to make the villagers whistle instead of sing when they feel like singing, since they'll do whatever song is playing near them if one is, rather than their default singing song. I got tired of hearing them sing, but the whistling doesn't bother me. I'm pretty sure K.K. Song is the only one that makes them whistle instead of sing, but I didn't actually test every song, so maybe there are others.

@_Donut_ Yeah, it's a lot better when they whistle, in my opinion. And the range on the music player is huge for how far away the villagers will sing/whistle along with it. And if the volume is on the lowest, you can only hear it yourself when you stand right in front of it, so it won't interfere with the regular music.

What about Animal Forest? I use it for the natural/fairy areas in my island~ Drivin' also sounds good for both city and natural

Animal City if you have a European/parisian themed island! It sounds super French haha, it reminds me a little bit of Le Festin from Ratatouille.
