Gulliver finally sent me the Stonehenge furniture item and I’d like to make a small dedicated area to it as opposed to just... having it randomly placed somewhere. So yeah, show me how you used it, I’m curious! Or maybe you’ve seen someone else make good use of it, feel free to share that as well
Preferably with as few Custom Design patterns as possible, I have... very few of those still available...
I did something similar to @maria110 and nestled mine into trees, placing it near my Council of Gnomes and their stable. There's a haunted ancient statue nearby, as well.
i haven't had a chance to use mine yet -- still deciding on where -- but i plan to nestle it in trees and decorate the area around it with single stone fences (on a dirt square). maybe with a stone tablet and some stone lanterns too, but we'll see when i finally get around to it. i just need to decide between two spots (one near my airport and one near the little ruins area i've currently got), but i'll probably wait until winter has passed first.
I wouldn’t call mine very inspired but I’ve kind of done something similar to what others have said. I put mine up in the cliffs and surrounded it with trees and natural things so it looks a little mysterious.
I used Stonehenge s the centerpiece of my rock garden, which is outside my rep's house and also features bushes that mark where to stand (so I don't have to dig the two holes before hitting the rocks).
Mine is part of the decorations / "outdoor exhibit" of the museum. I have a part dedicated to human history that displays stonehenge, a sphinx, some art statues from Redd, other Gulliver cultural items. And then the other side is a natural history display with fossils and models and stuff.
I really do like how people have used it as part of a rock garden! If I wasn't already doing the museum thing I would definitely be trying to create a rock garden with it.
mine is arguably just placed randomly, but it's isolated at the back of my island to add to the 'ruin' vibe I suppose. I ended up surrounding it with flowers a while back mostly because I just needed a place to dump a load of flowers haha. the area in front of it was a funfair, but I'm currently redecorating it and I want to sort of help it reflect the ruin-y vibe stonehenge gives a bit better
although I am also a big fan of museum/rock garden things that people do with it too!
