in other words, i used sai to work on the drawing but i need it to be png (i.e transparent background) and the program doesnt have that option. i have photoshop, but my rendering skills are terrible haha..i'd appreciate it if you try making the outline of everything cut clean during the process--im willing to pay 50 tbt for this. notify me if you're interested and i'll send you the pic

what is it? i'm good at photoshop and rendering/transparency, but it depends on what it is.
if it's just lineart i can do it easy peasy in a couple minutes, but if not i'll see.

can you pm me the file? in biggest resolution you have.

If you have Photoshop and used SAI to draw, then you don't need to render it :p just save it as a .psd file in SAI and open it in Photoshop. The transparency will be there

You can save with transparency on Sai :) Save it as a PNG, and then click the ARGB (second option) circle and it will save with opacity :)

actually you can export a transparent image straight from SAI, just when you click 'export as' press .PNG, then make sure you press the 32 option (each pixel has opacity) and any pixel that is fully transparent or a % of transparency will be transparent in the final PNG!!

Idk why but I don't have these options MayorEvvie and astro are mentioning in my SAI O: But if OP has it, then it looks like it would be even easier!

Should look like this?

Maybe this will shed a little bit of light?Idk.

I have 2 SAIs.
The first one just cant save .png with transparency. The notice never appears. So i have a 2nd SAI.

The 2nd sai is able to save with transparency, but for some reason, has no textures, and say i have 2 layers, 1 empty and 1 with a picture, and i fill the empty layer with the bucket tool, instead of filling the entire canvas, it fills only the blank space where the picture isnt occupying, despite it being on a different layer. If i drew something on the 1st sai and used textures, then opened the file on the 2nd sai, the textures will be gone. (orz i didnt realised and saved 1 of my files on the 2nd sai so goodbye texture for that)

edit:
not sure if someone has a strange sai like my 2nd one. :O

Ehh, that's weird? Maybe for your paint bucket you have All Image selected rather than Working Layer?
