Hello friends! So I have rather idiotically gathered all of my dream villagers and completed my home, and collectibles (badges, fossils, fish, etc) in a town with the worst layout of all time.

I'm thinking about getting myself another copy of the game and through effort and tons of tears; I hope to build a town that's more creative and fun~

Long story short I guess my main questions are: (1) is such a huge undertaking worth it (for those that have done this)?, (2) what are your experiences with having people hold your villagers?, and (3) can any of you veterans offer me any town-planning advice so that I don't have go through this disaster again?

Thanks for any and all responses~

OH! And PLEASE let me know if you would be willing to hold any items or villagers~

Hmm. How bad can the layout be ? My first town had a pretty bad layout. I worked on it until It didn't seem so bad. My first town has had over 3000 dream visits. People seem to like it. I'm wondering if you just need to give it a makeover. My town went through quite a few before I liked it.

As for dream villagers. I think it would be hard to have a bunch of different people hold your villagers. You more than likely wouldn't get them all back. It would also be a ton of work in my opinion.

I don't know how far along you are in your game, but it would take me close to a year to be where I am with my first town.( I have all the badges, catalog, etc, etc. ) And I would probably have to time travel. My other towns wouldn't take as long. The town and houses are finished, and I have all the upgrades but that's pretty much it. So, starting over may not be a bad option for you. Kind of depends on much you've done so far.

Have you thought about getting a second copy? You could Start it up, then transfer your villagers to the new town. I did that with one of my towns. It took some time, but was worth it. Then you could use the first town as a cycle town, or start it over and have two towns.

I hope that whatever you choose to do works out for you. :)
