his current catchphrase is “gongaga” and i love that but im also debating on changing it. any ideas if i do?

How about “Hokey smoke” like Rocky and Bullwinkle (since Bullwinkle is a moose).

The problem with species-specific catchphrases is that they tend to spread to your other villagers. Hence, my horse villager saying "roar" and my non-cat villagers meowing and purring. It can be amusing, but I was pretty annoyed at first so I wanted to bring that up.

I have Eric on my island right now, but I think he might have a neutral catchphrase that I can't remember at the moment. The only thing I can think of is "freezing" to go along with his snowy & icy decor.
