New extinct species

This is the problem with over developing our world!!
We need to limit waste and how much land we use, this is probably also why people like Stephen Hawking think we need to get on colonizing other planets, BECAUSE WE ARE WRECKING THIS ONE!

No it isn't ev3en really global warning, most species that are endangered or threatened is due to the development of land. cities growing, more houses in every town, it destroys habitable land for animals. We are taking their space, but we haven't stopped yet we just keep expanding... If we don't stop there are many more extinctions in the near future.

Sure.

I would love to settle on a planet that's made out of gas.

The earth's greatest enemy is man, and this is a fact.

If man will eventually die out, the earth will only prosper. Trust me.

So Bul, you want us all to die? I think many of the people who invaded America and took the land away from my fellow Native Americans should leave. They destroyed much of what we had.

Well it isn't so much Earth that we destroy as the nature on it... I somehow doubt a planet cares what goes on its surface...:p

But seriously it is a growing problem.... at least people are starting to notice it more. Awareness needs to keep being spread.

Jeez...thats terrible...

:'( They really gotta' do somethin' about this. And Bul, I understand what you said...Bromley, he never said he wanted us to die, either...

Woah! I thought the next extinct animal was some type of bird yet it turned out to be a mammal. Sighs..

You're right, we should cease most human development in hopes of saving that squirl or raccoon from wandering in the way of a tractor... HUG DEM TREE'S.

Honestly, an extinct species... it's nothing large, species don't last forever, they die out naturally, and new ones take its place, its the circle of life, its how things are ment to happen... so that species dies, that means the things it eats live, giving them a chance to grow and develop, which in turn frees space for other creatures, and makes more mutations possible, the more mutations the newer the species, we can take all the blame if you feel like it, but all we're doing is what we're supposed to be doing. survive. develop.

sporge i doubt that every now and then an animal has one of its eggs or sperm mutated by a chemical or so,ething and then that specific forgot what the cells are called like you know other than spoerm and egg.... well anyway they undergo miosis making 4 of them and if were lucky that one mutated one is born and could become a whole new species so... to the labs!!!!

also uhm the pidgeons in new york are descendantsa of the rock dove so they perch on high things like skycrapers i beleive the rock dove is extinct but yeah anywho that would suggest my theory is right well not my theory but oh well.

also sproge you mentioned wolves and them becoming extinct so what we have gotten oh goodness uhm 20 million new species from wolves so whats that species to the ones whom branched from it??? HMM i do know that yes it is a problem because it screws up the food chain but i mean the worst that could happen is a big increase in koi populations cuz no dolphins are there but they will exhaust their food scource then start starving giving the algae time to regrow or whatever they eat so itll be all okay remember homeostasis i think its called ...

I didn't mean wolves became extinct entirely, but in certain areas they are eradicated because we want to live there, drive their prey away but bring livestock that they then kill, farmers get angry and get rid of them. Some wolves are pretty endangered though, not extinct... and yes some species evolve, some like the pigeon even to survive in a human environment, but for every species that can adapt like that think of how many die off.

I don't quite understand your first post though ...... are you doubting all that you say there? If it is about pollution stuff... well pollution is a problem but not as big as habitat destruction right now. People have been cracking down on pollution enough now, and technology is only improving that situation. But for habitat destruction, rain forests are still being destroyed, forests, coral reefs, wild plains in America are almost gone entirely, pretty much turned into farmland.

Yeah, when one species goes extinct, it can adversely affect any other animals in the community and or ecosystem. Basically, the extinction of the Chinese River Dolphin will mess up the circle in some way, unless a new species of dolphin comes in and may take the River Dolphin's place. That's my view on the subject...

But to the Chinese River Dolphin...
