New Face, Old Player

Hello all,

I've only just discovered this corner of the net, but I've been playing Animal Crossing since the Gamecube era some nearly 20 years ago.
So, I had started Horizons on launch, played for 6 months, then suffered from burnout after blitzing through the game (due to working from home) and ran out of things to do.

Now, I'm starting over fresh with a new island and I want to jump into the new update, features, and STRETCH this island life further than the last one. I've started playing again last Friday, so I'm on Day 8 (just got Town Services). As you can probably guess, I'm looking for new friends to play the game with. So, if you're interested in playing with an old AC vet, hit me up. Just...don't expect me to be a walking encyclopedia. Haha!

I see Mitzi is your profile pic! Is she your favourite villager? She is adorable.

Your island is pretty fresh! Do you have a plan for a style or something in particular you want to achieve?

Yes, Mitzi is my all-time favorite villager since the GCN days. Always has been.
Regarding the style, what I would like to do is avoid making the same exact layout as I had done with my last island. Some ideas that I had, I would like to bring back (isolating the campsite from the rest of the island to make it feel more like wilderness, putting the museum atop a "mountain" of sorts, etc.). However, I don't even have paths yet, so I've time to think it through.
