New face styles to choose from in the new game.

OK, my mom and I were discussing this, but I'm really hoping they introduce some new face style choices to choose from in the beginning of the game. I did like a couple of the new ones to choose from in New Leaf, but I wasn't overly impressed. To be very honest, my mom suggested that all of the face style choices we should be able to choose from should be brand new. I kinda agree with her, but then I don't. I know some people like the old ones, so it would be kinda hard to choose new ones, especially if everyone has a favorite one.

Any thoughts or ideas for this?

I think and hope that they will keeps the old faces and also add newer ones. I'm pretty happy with the ones we got now, so I wouldn't want them gone. Hoping they get more tho, having more options wouldn't be too bad, hehe. I wonder how they will do it this game with the way they choose our face.

I doubt that they'd ever get rid of the old faces, also seeing as how villager's face is iconic with Smash.

Yeah, I like some of the old ones too. I also wonder how they will do the faces as well. Will Rover being doing it again or another new character?

I guess they will stick with the old faces and maybe add one or two new ones. If I remember
correctly, New Leaf also had new faces which weren't in the previous AC games. So maybe
there are chances of getting new ones in this game too. If there are new faces I hope they
will look good.

If they don't add new ones to the next game, I won't mind. I was content picking the same face every game, and they already increased the selection by 50% for New Leaf. Every addition is much appreciated though. I actually did try one of the new ones for my New Leaf mayor.

Agreed. There is only one girl face I've seen with eyebrows and two boy faces with eyebrows. We definitely need more.

Yeah, I won't mind either if they don't add anymore. I'm still using the same face as the first character I used back in Wild World. Might use one of the new ones for the next game.

If they add more faces I hope the blend with the art style. I would prefer instead options like 'makeup' to add say blush or more eyelashes to existing faces, but have these extras be changeable. I like the rosy cheeks that one face has but I don't like the eyes. I would prefer to be able to add blush to another face. I don't know if lipstick could work with the artstyle but hey, maybe.

Omigosh! I too am worried more about the hairstyles as well! Also, I agree with the rosy cheeks character. I wish they would allows us to create our own character. If they did, I would so do the rosy cheeks along with the cute eyes girl. I think that combination would be nice.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried they will just keep the current hairstyles we got right now, but new colors would definitely be nice too.

I think it would be nice if this was like an option you can add to any face! or as it stands I think the tanning system is kinda dumb, I mean... If you start off at 0 you don't actually turn to shade 7 irl lol! I think it would be nice if instead of whole body tanning that the player picks their skin colour at the start, but in the summer if you wear no hat/short sleeve tops, you get freckles no matter what skin tone you pick at the start! but it would be nice to be able to get them otherwise if you want them, say via Harriet.

Yeah, I wish they would allow you to pick your skin color and stay that skin color just like they did in Happy Home Designer. I don't like my character getting a tan. It just annoys me.

I never really noticed that the faces lacked eyebrows. Now it feels weird without them. Seeing as ACNL as my first game to the series, I'm not bothered by one bit if Nintendo decides to add more faces.
