New friend, but I don't know who it is

Someone with the name "Kirstine" friended me on my Switch, but I can't find anyone with that NH screen name here. I'm guessing this is where she found my friend code, I've only posted it here. Let me know if you're here or if anyone knows her, please!

Hi. You could try copying and pasting the code into the Search feature. Search “everywhere“. if the person has put their friend code into the text of a post it may find it that way. Just an idea.

Thanks for the tip. Is there a way to find her friend code? I wasn't able to see it but I may not have looked in the right place.

Could it be someone you traded with or visited through another site? That’s the only other way I get requests other than TBT, is “users I’ve played with.” I have used the same feature to add people myself.

So far this is the only site I've put my friend code on, and I've only played with one person who is already in my friends list. I'm trying to think of other ways she may have found me but coming up blank. She shows a bunch of hours in ACNH and I saw her online last night but couldn't contact her.

Try adding her as a best friend then you could message her. Easy to remove after if you want.

That's what I was thinking, but after I added her as a best friend I didn't see a way to message her. How is that done? I'll check again tonight when I get home.

Tbh if you post your friend code you will get people adding you. I have added a few people and if we have never chatted I delete. Recently a very similar name Kirstie added me. Never spoken so unless they say hi I will delete,

Right? Doesn't make sense to me either. I figure I'll get people coming in since it's posted but at least say hello.
