Bells

Hey people! Thank you so much for reading this, as I am brand new to the site. I have a few questions regarding how this site works and would like some input.

What are the bells we earn here, and what makes them so valuable that people sell them?
What does the Wifi rating mean?

Also, I have Stitches in my town, and I have realized he is quite popular. I was wondering if he were to move and I were to auction him, would people actually buy him from someone that is brand new to the site?

Thank you so much for reading this post, and I'm sorry if it's in the wrong forum category, (whatever it's called) but I really appreciate if you could answer these questions. :D

The bells, I'm not sure how they are earned but they can be used to purchase stuff. Thw WiFi rating is how people rated their experience with you as a in game play. (When they visit your town or you visit theirs) And Yes, people would buy him! And there would be lots of bidding.

No problem! I'm not really the best and answering question .-.' If you need anything else feel free to PM or Vistor message me. ^^

You get bells by posting quality posts on the forum. There are a few threads you don't earn TBT bells in, the TBT marketplace being one of them. Best way to earn bells is to go to the Animal Crossing: NL thread and participate in the topics :) Essentially, the longer your comment is the more bells you'll earn; but ofcourse don't just make it really long just to earn bells xD!

Bells are earned through quality posting, you can find a small guide here: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?64715-The-Bell-System-Beginner-s-Guide

A WiFi rating is how trustworthy someone is to wifi with. They are only to be given out after you have wified with someone or during auctions if someone has failed to follow through. Do not fear someone with a less than perfect score, people change their ways. You can always click their score to find out what members are saying about their trustworthiness :)

People will buy from a new member. When the time comes, you may make an Auction thread in the Villager Trading Plaza. There are some new rules to the auction that you must follow or you may suffer from a negative wifi feedback.

A few things to keep in mind when hosting an auction:
  • If you host an auction you MUST follow through -- there is no changing your mind or giving it to a friend instead, you would be wasting TBT members time by failing to follow through.
  • You need to reserve the right to change auction time in your original post (without editing it in) or else people will be angry with you if you change it at random.
  • If your buyout price it met you must sell the villager to that person.
  • If your auction time ends, you cannot extend it. You must take the highest bid even if it's not the price you had in mind.

Some more handy tips:
  • Read and understand the rules: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?94559-The-Bell-Tree-Rules-amp-Guidelines
  • Some boards have their own specific rules. You can find them in the stickied section of the board you are looking at.
  • Always listen to people with Red and Blue names. These are the Bell Trees Admin and Moderators respectively.
  • If you see someone breaking the Rules or starting a fight, use the report button instead of posting a reply to them. The Report button can be located at the bottom Left of their post, it looks like an ! mark inside of a triangle.

Most of all, just have fun! Join in on the conversations or create your own!
