I’m new to this forum but not new to animal crossing I used to live and breathe ACWW when I was a kid and I bought a switch last winter and have had ACNH for over a year now, and have never been to another persons town and only had one person visit mine! Would love to find some cool people to make friends with so we can visit each others towns!

i loved wild world when i was a kid, too! it was my first animal crossing game, and while i was maybe a bit too young to fully appreciate it then, it really is such an amazing game. i sometimes listen to its soundtrack just for fun, and it fills me with so much nostalgia haha.
i hope you’re having fun with new horizons! do you have any favourite villagers? does your island have any theme/s, or do you just decorate however?
Hiya! Welcome to TBT! ^^ New Leaf was my first AC game, so I've never tried Wild World, but I think I'd like to at some point! Out of the AC games you've played, which would you say is your favorite?
I never played Wild World, City Folk was my first game of the series, but I've heard great things about it. I am from the east coast in the States, but visited Kensington this past spring for one of my classes (English Origins of Law). It was super interesting and I made some amazing memories there.

It’s such a good game, it has come so far since I played it when I was younger. I just got Goldie as a villager and she is my favourite! I think I’ve seen Buck before in wild world

Me too! I spent hours on it, got all the golden tools and then would reset the whole game
I’m loving new horizons, and my favourite villager is Goldie! I haven’t gone too crazy with the decorating yet, but I’m starting to add different themes into each section of my island - tiki beach, zen garden etc.
What about you? What’s your island like?

Hello! Lovely to meet you. I’ve seen lots of people on here talking about New Leaf! I’ve never played it myself but would love to. I’d have to say Wild World as it is just such a classic, I also played City Folk on the wii which I liked, but the new features on ACNH are incredible! X

Ah yes I played City Folk too!! I loved the features going to the city brought but I missed the handheld play! Wild world was incredible, there used to be a stargazing portal in the museum with Celeste where you could create constellations
That’s amazing! Kensington is one of the nicest parts of london, so beautiful. My London office is based close by in Westminster. Where abouts on the east coast! I used to holiday in Florida a lot
Goldie was the first AC villager I met, and she was my favourite for a long time too! She is so sweet, and when I came across her on a mystery island in ACNH, I definitely couldn't leave without her!

haha relatable! i honestly didn’t know there were golden tools until like my 4th year with the game, and i was flabbergasted when i found out lmao. my thing was resetting my town so that i could try out different town names and see new villagers.
goldie is one of my favourite villagers, too!! she’s such a sweet girl, and her design is so precious. i love golden retrievers sm. your island sounds lovely!!
my island is a bit of a mess haha. i haven’t decorated it much as i’ve been more focused on meeting new villagers and obtaining their photos, completing my catalog and all nook mile achievements etc, plus decorating is kinda overwhelming for me with how many different items and designs and possibilities there are, but so far i have 2 completed areas that i’m pretty proud of — a celestial lounge area near rs, and my backyard!! i’ll probably wind up relocating them eventually as i don’t have my island layout figured out yet, but design-wise i really like how they turned out!
i don’t think i have a particular theme in mind or that i’m going for, but rather a combo of various themes! i’m hoping for my island to be super colourful and nature-oriented, with some fairycore, cottagecore and kidcore thrown in! i love colourful/rainbow aesthetics, so i want my island to reflect that. ^_^

She is absolutely lovely!! And she is super cute i was the same she came to my campsite and I didn’t let her leave
I’m not sure yet! I can barely remember any of the ones from Wild World and City Folk so it’ll be fun to find new ones and see old faces. Who’s your favourite villager?

My favourite villager is Agnes (she's a sisterly pig)! She was my first villager on ACNH, and she just grew on me really quickly! She's very funny and sweet. She has asked to leave my island so many times, but I will never let her leave! I also really love the bear villagers!
There are so many villagers, so there will definitely be a nice mix of villagers you remember, villagers you don't remember and villagers that are new! Meeting all of the different villagers was one of my favourite things about AC generally, so that will be exciting!
Welcome to the forums! I love Goldie. She’s on my island, as well. Wild World was my escape back in the days of middle school. I had real connections with the villagers and absolutely considered them my friends. I hope to see you around.
